All veterans risked their lives to protect our country. They deserve to be honored for their bravery and sacrifices.

The Shelby Veterans Memorial will recognize and honor of all of the courageous men and women from all branches of the United States military who have so valiantly defended the freedoms that we enjoy.  Construction of the Shelby Veterans Memorial is officially underway with the concrete foundation having been added to the Agri Symbol Park at the northwest corner of the exit at Shelby, Iowa, Exit 34 at I-80 and Highway M-16.  With this exciting progress, fundraising efforts remain ongoing as the community moves into the next phase of the project. 

This park will create a beautiful place for peace and reflection, a place to pay tribute to our veterans and a place to pray for peace throughout the world. The park is handicap accessible and is conveniently located. It will be an attraction that will draw visitors for years to come.
