Our Mission
The Shelby Veterans Memorial Park, Inc., was founded to recognize and honor not only the courageous men and women from all branches of the United States military who have so valiantly defended the freedoms that we enjoy but especially to those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

The City of Shelby, Iowa, has allowed this monument to be added to the Agri Symbol Park, ensuring that visitors will have a beautiful place for generations to come to honor veterans for their service as well as the great sacrifices made by them and their families. The park is meant to be a place for peace and reflection, a place to pay tribute and pray for peace throughout the world.

It is, after all, because of each and every one of those military people that we are able to live in this country and have the freedoms we have.
